My name is Tracy Armond I am the founder of Jolly Gestures Ltd.

I decided to set up Jolly Gestures after teaching my three children Finlay (3), Millicent (2) and Liberty (1) baby signing.

The ease in which they were able to understand and use the signs was amazing. They were able to tell me and my husband when they were hungry, tired or needed their nappy changing.

Baby signing has given all my children the ability to communicate more clearly with us and reduce the time it took to understand exactly what they were trying to tell us.

Our eldest child has a fantastic command of the English language now but as well, he loves to know the BSL sign for each new word he learns.

I had always had an interest in sign language and so I took the plunge and enrolled at my local college. I have studied for and passed BSL levels 1 and 2, and am currently undertaking my BSL level 3.

I have also worked in mainstream schools supporting deaf pupils.

Jolly gestures currently runs baby signing classes in Sleaford, Lincolnshire and are looking to expand throughout Lincolnshire, East Midlands and the UK.
